Thank you for calling Callahan's today! We are happy to share information about services to our very special hiker visitors that will help them to plan their trip "around" the new lodge. The web site will be up by mid April with a page just for PCT hikers. We are happy to accept re-supply packages: just need a note on the front of the box "PCT" and approx. DOA. Callahan's, located at I-5 and Exit 6 (the Mount Ashland Exit) is within 1/2 mile of the trail.
We will be open year-round from 8 am until 9 pm beginning the first part of July, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have a wonderful grassy backyard perfect for tent pitching, and a washer/dryer/step-in shower/restroom in our shop. . .it's not fancy, but it works! We will offer a hiker package on our web site that will be sure to attract "celebrities" from the trail.

Wonderful website by the way! Yes i cut my waist long wavy hair off! Its not
todally shaved off but pretty short and funky. What a change! Its been so
much easier already, i cant wait to see how awesome it is out on the trail I
will soon have pics posted on my webpage.
Yes i will be attending the kickoff. I will be leaving the border on the
23rd and take 2 days to reach lake morena. Well thats the plan now it might
still change. I will be at the kickoff Thurs-Sunday. Cant wait to see you
there!
